My passion for the future started very early as a teenager, when I would take the train into town for one hour to go to that single newsstand in the whole area where I could buy the trendiest international magazines. I have always wanted to live an international life and make friends in different cultures, learning about different tastes and passions.
After studying International Economics, I was fortunate to begin my career as Communications Manager at Swarovski. In charge of the trend magazine, I had a chance to meet and learn from the very best trend forecasters in the world already more than 20 years ago.
In 2005, I took the adventurous leap and moved to Kampala, Uganda. I ended up staying for 7 years, taking with me not only incredible memories of Africa, but a deep understanding of cultural trends and our globally interconnected world.
Since my return, I have been telling stories for tomorrow for many different brands in different sectors - from established big corporations to small, independent start ups. My network across the world helps me pick up early signs of change and translate them into business opportunities.
Like a compass to the future, my curated insights into new trends help brands to futureproof their business and develop strategies in times of accelerated change.
